We live in a culture that downplays the importance of the present, the here and now. Avoiding the present moment is almost a disease in our culture, and we are continually conditioned to sacrifice the present for the future.

Emotional intelligence is the ability to manage emotions. The emotional level directly influences our thoughts and these directly influence our behaviour.

Being successful in life, at any age, in any environment and at any level, is not determined entirely by IQ, but by the skills that define emotional intelligence.

Skills such as self-esteem, self-awareness, motivation, empathy, social skills... are fundamental and will define feelings, thoughts and behaviours, thus making the difference between failure or success in life.

At I AM SPORT we don't give solutions, we teach tools that prepare you to succeed.

TEACHERS EXPERTS

I AM SPORT has a highly qualified team (certified and graduated) in the best Universities in these areas: Center for Mindfulness Research and Practice, CMRP, formed by the Universities of Oxford, Bangor and Exeter. Complutense University of Madrid and with great professionals.

At Mindfulness we specialise in programmes such as MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction), MBCT (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), Mindfulness Instructors in work organisations, educational and health environments.

QUALIFICATIONS BY ASSISTANCE

All participants will receive a certificate and will even be able to obtain an accredited diploma for the full standardised programmes they complete.

MIND

Our mind creates our reality. Whatever you mentally affirm and feel to be true, will be accepted by your subconscious mind and made real in your experience by it.

LIVING IN THE PRESENT

There is only one moment in which you can experience something and that moment is the "now"; however, much is wasted in reminiscing about the past and thinking about the future.

Thinking about memories, regrets and regrets are the most dangerous and common tactics to avoid the present.

FEAR

It is said that fear is a person's worst enemy. Fear is behind failure, illness and poor human relationships. However, fear is only a thought that is ingrained in our mind, so it follows that you are afraid of your own thoughts.

Six basic fears, from which every human being suffers at some point in his or her life. Sometimes it is just one, or a combination of several.

- Poverty - Criticism - Illness - Loss of someone's love - Old age - Death

We cannot always do the same things and expect a different result.

SELF-CONFIDENCE

Security is a myth. As long as you are a person living on this earth, it is difficult for you to have full security. Certainty eliminates excitement, emotion and growth.

But there is a different kind of security that is worth seeking; and that is the inner security that gives you confidence in yourself and in your ability to solve any problem that comes your way.

By cultivating yourself until you grow into a prosperous person, in terms of strength of character and mind, you will naturally succeed in whatever you do.

SUCCESS

Success is a skill that can be learned. You can learn to succeed at anything; if you want to be a good sportsman, you can learn to do it; if you want to be a good pianist, you can learn to do it; if you want to be good in any professional field, you can learn to do it; if you want to be fully happy, you can learn to do it. You can learn to succeed at anything. Every master was once an apprentice.

FORGIVENESS

Forgiveness reaches its true meaning when you forgive yourself.

THE CONCERN

Worry has been defined as a feeling that immunises the present for things that may not happen in the future.

APPROVAL

Approval is not an evil in itself; in fact, flattery is deliciously pleasant.
Approval seeking becomes a wrong area only when it becomes a need rather than a want. If you need it, you can fall apart if you don't get it.

THE GUILT

It has been estimated that a large number of the population has a personality orientation that is more external than internal. External means that you hold someone external, i.e. something outside yourself, responsible for your emotional state in your present moments. Internal are those people who place all responsibility on their own shoulders.

DISEASE

What is madness, where is the healing power and how can it be put to practical use? These are vital questions, of great importance to all. To all of them, the answer is the same; this healing power is within the subconscious mind of all people, and the change of mental attitude of the sufferer releases this healing power.
